First-year students in Bardejov experienced a day full of science, interactive presentations, and live animals as part of the EFFUSE-win project.
On May 27, 2025, an Info Day took place at the Leonard Stöckel Gymnasium in Bardejov as part of the cross-border project with Ukraine, EFFUSE-win.
The event attracted nearly 100 curious first-year students, to whom we presented the project’s goals, planned activities, and opportunities for them to get involved and gain new experiences. The project was introduced by project manager Dr. Ivana Slepáková and communication manager Dr. Viktória Majláthová. The atmosphere was enriched by an interactive lecture by Dr. Igor Majláth, who spoke about animals that play an important role in science, research, and in the natural environments where they live.
The students were able not only to see the animals, but also to touch them, experience them up close, and learn many interesting facts not typically found in textbooks. The Info Day thus offered a captivating combination of science, hands-on experience, and live interaction.
